Our goal is to give you great value for $ spent. Our rate is hourly; including time spent on phone calls, emails, texts, video conferences, in-person meetings, mediation, writing, edits, counselling, coaching, paperwork, calculations, referrals, research, other supports, etc. We can tell you exactly what it will cost you to get what you need in mediation during your Free Consultation. What we can tell you is that we will:
GIVE YOU AN ESTIMATE – of the cost of at least the next step you would like or need to take – we charge very affordable hourly and/or fixed-fee flat rates; usually less than local competitors; plus we deliver quick, equal or better quality services. We can typically off you a flat rate for our Family Mediation services
PROVIDE TRANSPARENCY and RESULTS – Our bookkeeper will send you weekly time reports of the hours spent; and on what tasks/duties we have done for you, with your invoice of charges so you have peace of mind knowing what’s we’ve done plus what your costs are every week & are kept up-to-date with exactly where your matter is at
TAKE A MODEST DEPOSIT (RETAINER) – We keep up front deposits at $500 – $1,000 (e-transfer preferred or PayPal) so it is affordable & convenient for you to get started with us right away. We usually ask for half of the Mediation cost up front then the other half once we’ve completed the work with you
